Patriots of Faith

Luke Scott was drafted by the Cleveland Indians in the 9th round of the 2001 MLB Draft after earning All-Big 12 Conference honors at Oklahoma State University. He earned the nickname “el Monstruo de Cuadrangular” which translates to “The Home Run Monster” while playing in a Venezuelan Winter League.

Luke kept that reputation while playing for the Houston Astros, where he was their first rookie to hit for the cycle in 2006. He earned the title of Baltimore Orioles Most Valuable Player for the 2010 season. Luke is now a first baseman, outfielder and designated hitter for the Tampa Bay Rays.

Luke’s career in baseball didn’t happen by chance – he believes it’s a blessing from God. He is a man of prayer and a true ‘Patriot of Faith’. Luke has a strong love for our country and our men and women in uniform. He hopes others who feel the same will proudly wear this symbol of Patriotism and Faith along with him. Proceeds will benefit Birdies for the Brave, a charity whose proceeds are sent to Wounded Warrior Project, Navy Seal Foundation, Green Beret Foundation, Special Operations Warrior Fund, Operation Home Front, Homes for Our Troops, and the Military Warriors Support Foundation.

Please join Luke in supporting these great organizations.
